Wellington Public Library firmly believes that reading is important at every age and stage of life. For this reason, the library has a variety of programs designed to promote early reading skills for our youngest readers.
Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM, join Ms. Lisa & Friends for preschool story time. We read 3-4 books on a central theme, do some finger-plays and rhymes, sing songs and play musical instruments. It’s a half hour of learning fun!
In conjunction with Sumner County Literacy, the Youth Library has developed Story Sacks available for checkout. Each Story Sack has 2-3 books and a variety of folder games and activities for parents and children to do together. There are currently
