bear-sees-color-webKansas Reads to Preschoolers is an annual event sponsored by the Kansas State Library.  Libraries, preschools and other agencies with a stake in the interest of the literacy of our youngest patrons hold special events and read the selected title to as many children as possible. Events for 2016 will be held November 13-19, 2016.

Wellington Public Library’s story times will be held Wednesday, November 16th, at 10:00 AM and Thursday, November 17th, at 7:00 pm.  Each family that participates will receive a copy of the 2016 title, Bear Sees Colors, by Karma Wilson.

Celebrate the importance of reading in the lives of young Kansans throughout the month of November.  Share a book!
